The goal of the challenge is to have a little fun fishing while raising money to send kids to camp.
Two years ago a board member (David Hollifield) suggested we hold a contest to see just how many of us could catch a trout every month for one year. It may not sound all that difficult, but once the rubber met the road this was quite a journey. Once the DH streams reverted to hatchery supported regulations I found myself exploring wild streams I had never set foot in before. The one thing that stands out the most is that the challenge got us all back in the water fishing.
