Welcome to Rocky River Trout Unlimited

Trout Unlimited is a cold-water fisheries conservation group. With your help, we can further the cause of protecting these watersheds from all manner of injury and destruction, from invasive species and disease to agricultural damage and pollution. We engage in many different activities to improve the stream conditions, including stream restoration work, stream cleanups, educating anglers about proper on-stream habits, and other endeavors.
Celebrating our 26th Anniversary this year, the Rocky River Chapter is the Charlotte-area chapter of Trout Unlimited. If you are a member of Trout Unlimited and live in the Charlotte area, you are already a member of RRTU, and we would hope you would join us for one of our monthly meetings. There is no additional membership fee join us, as your TU National membership is the only requirement to be a member of RRTU.
For your convenience, we meet twice a month, every month except for July. We hold one meeting per month in November and December. We meet in Pineville at the Longhorn Steakhouse on the third Wednesday of the month. We also meet in Cornelius at the Cook House Family Dining on the fourth Wednesday of the month. Please check back with us for information on our combined November and December meetings. Our meetings begin with a 6:30pm Social Hour and a program beginning around 7:30pm. Please click here for directions to our meeting sites.
In addition to our monthly meetings, we also hold monthly Streamside Fishing Trips. This is an opportunity to learn more about our watersheds with others. We engage in stream cleanup and fishing during these days, as well as entomology and stream dynamics lessons as suitable. Please contact us at (email address) if you are interested.
I hope to see you at one of our upcoming meetings and out on the stream!
Sincerely,
Andrew M Cole
